WOULD YOU MAKE A GREAT APPRENTICE?
Greenwich Dance and Jorge Crecis are creating Through & Out: Skipping Extravaganza, a dance and skipping project involving over 500 people aged 7-80+ from South East London. Through & Out: Skipping Extravaganza will be performed outdoors at Greenwich Park as part of the Royal Greenwich Festivals and Big Dance 2014, the UK’s biggest celebration of all types of dance, for all ages and all levels of ability.
Greenwich Dance are looking to recruit a team of apprentices to support the delivery of this project. Each apprentice will be teamed with 2 professional dancers and allocated to a certain group(s) to work with throughout the rehearsal period and performance days.
Acceptance is subject to a clean CRB/DBS check within the past 3 years. Greenwich Dance can help you to apply for one if needed.
Apprentices will receive expenses and will be eligible for a reference from Greenwich Dance and Jorge Crecis at the end of the project.
This is for you if you:
• are reliable, enthusiastic and highly-committed
• have dance and/or skipping experience
• enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds
• want to gain experience working on a large-scale dance project with professional choreographers and dancers
As well as the individual group rehearsals, all apprentices should be available for:
An introductory session (date tbc)
